On Wednesday, June 26th, Elyria Education Association President Linda Aguiñaga proudly represented our members at the Ohio Education Association’s Rally for Fair School Funding held at the Ohio Statehouse in Columbus. Educators from across the state gathered in solidarity to urge lawmakers to fully fund and implement the Fair School Funding Formula in Ohio’s upcoming state budget.
The rally was a powerful demonstration of unity, passion, and purpose. President Aguiñaga stood among hundreds of educators, parents, and allies—holding signs, chanting messages of support, and reminding lawmakers that public education is the heart of our communities.
